Shepparton Decking grew out of years spent building outdoor living spaces for families across the Goulburn Valley. Working through hot, dry inland summers taught us early on that a deck here has to be built and finished for the conditions, not just thrown together for the photo. We have laid ground-level entertainers in Kialla's new estates and rebuilt tired, silvered decks on established homes in Shepparton and Mooroopna. Over that time we have worked with merbau, spotted gum, blackbutt, treated pine and composite, learning what holds up best against local UV and seasonal movement. We keep the team small and hands-on so the person quoting your deck is the same person building it. That local grounding is why so much of our work comes from repeat customers and neighbours who saw a deck we built next door.

Steve Smith leads every build hands-on and has spent more than twelve years constructing timber and composite decks across Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley. From low-set alfresco decks to elevated and pool-side builds, Steve has seen how the local climate treats timber and builds accordingly. He runs the quotes, sets out the sub-frame and stays close to the detail on site, so the standard stays consistent from the first board to the final coat of oil.
